Designed and built over the course of a year, Drumhenge is a collaboration between artist Peter English and researcher Jeff Gregorio at the ExCITe Center. It takes traditional approaches to percussion and turns them on their heads, using technology to re-evision the medium. Part art installation, part experimental rock show, part interactive tech demo, Drumhenge promises to provide a new musical experience for artist and audience alike.

About Peter English
Peter English is a Philadelphia-based musician, artist, and filmmaker. His music is a celebration of both classic pop and modern experimentation, a nexus of contrasting soundscapes populated by vivid, intense characters.
From 2009-2014 he worked as Creative Director for the non-profit Weathervane Music, supporting independent music across the country and creating the acclaimed documentary series Shaking Through. He worked with indie luminaries such as Sufjan Stevens, Sharon Van Etten, The War on Drugs, Wilco, & Grizzly Bear and earned praise from Pitchfork, Stereogum, NPRmusic, IFCnews and Boing Boing, as well as garnering a coveted Vimeo Staff Pick.
