New technology expanding the frontiers of music is being created, right here in Philly. Learn more about the cutting edge of music tech through this monthly event series, presented by the ExCITe Center, the Drexel Music Industry Program, and Music: Not Impossible.
Our December event returns to the ExCITe Center and features Drumhenge, a musical instrument developed by Peter English and Jeff Gregorio. The system premiered in concerts at Drexel and appeared in installations in New York and the Sundance Festival. ExCITe artist-in-residence, Daniel Belquer, will perform a new interactive work, featuring Drumhenge.
